Greg's Background
Greg has spent his career in education, wearing many hats along the way. Starting out as a classroom teacher, he gained firsthand experience navigating the joys and challenges of teaching, always keeping students at the heart of the work. Later, as a building principal, Greg focused on creating strong school communities and helping teachers and students thrive.
In addition to K-12 education, Greg served as an adjunct professor at Concordia University-Chicago, sharing insights and practical strategies with the next generation of educators. Now, as the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning in a suburban school district 30 miles west of Chicago, he continues to champion teaching excellence and student growth on a larger scale.
Greg also brings specialized expertise to his work. He holds a Certificate of Applied Positive Psychology from the Flourishing Center and a Positive Educator Certificate from the Center for Positive Education. Additionally, Greg is a certified TESA (Teacher Expectations and Student Achievement) Trainer and a certified ALICE Trainer, equipping educators and schools with tools to foster success and safety in diverse learning environments.
